At GoPlanit, we are committed to providing a secure and trustworthy platform for booking event vendors. All payments are processed securely via our official payment gateway. This refund policy outlines the conditions under which users may be eligible for a refund.
1. Refund Eligibility
Refunds may be considered under the following circumstances:
- If the event is fully booked and subsequently cancelled, refunds may be considered on a case-by-case basis, subject to the approval of the vendor involved.
- If the vendor cancels the booking prior to the event
- If the event is impacted by a natural disaster or an 'Act of God' that renders it impossible to proceed.
- In other extraordinary circumstances, subject to GoPlani's sole discretion and approval.
2. Requesting a Refund
To request a refund, users must contact GoPlanit support within 3 days of the scheduled event date. The following information will be required:
- Booking ID and account email
- Description of the issue or reason for the request
- Any supporting evidence (e.g., cancellation notice, communication with vendor)
3. Refund Review and Timeline
Refund requests are reviewed on a case-by-case basis. We aim to complete the review and notify you of the outcome within 14 business days. If approved, refunds will be processed back to the original payment method via our payment gateway
4. Limitations
Refunds are not guaranteed for events that were completed or for dissatisfaction with vendor performance unless evidence of a significant breach of service is provided. GoPlanit reserves the right to deny refund requests that do not meet the criteria outlined above.
